Trip overview
The Maras, Moray and Salt Mines Tour lets you discover three of the most iconic sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Along the way you will see the circular terraces of Moray, the traditional colonial town of Maras and the striking Maras Salt Mines, thousands of salt pools worked since pre-Inca times and still used today by local communities.
It is a half-day circuit, ideal to combine with another tour on the same trip to Cusco.

The route, step by step
Hotel pickup. We collect you from hotels in the historic centre of Cusco and set off toward the Sacred Valley.
Moray. Our first stop is the Moray archaeological complex, known for its circular terraces that the Incas used as an agricultural research centre.
Maras. We visit the traditional town of Maras, where you will see its colonial streets, balconies and the typical architecture of the period.
Salt Mines of Maras. We tour the famous Maras Salt Mines, made up of thousands of salt pools fed by a natural spring — one of the most iconic landscapes around Cusco.
Return. After the visit we head back to the city of Cusco.
